IN CONVERSATION: RAUL GUERRERO AND GEAN MORENO

EVENTS
Join us in NY on Tuesday, April 30 at 11 AM for a conversation with Raul Guerrero and Gean Moreno, Director of the Knight Foundation Art + Research Center at ICA Miami. The two will discuss Guerrero's solo exhibition, Terra Incógnita. Across three new bodies of work, the exhibition uses sourced and remixed elements from appropriated political and art historical images to untangle the long trajectory of colonialism and cultural exchange typically found in this larger geographical footprint. The conversation will be followed by a light brunch. RSVP here

It can be a place that in one instant is hard to see and then, the next, is the most recognizable city in the world.” Read the review here

HUMA BHABHA: BEFORE THE END

EXHIBITIONS
Huma Bhabha: Before the End, a series of four new large-scale bronze figures, is on view through March 9, 2025, at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Set amidst an expansive landscape where the natural and man-made converge, Bhabha’s sculptures captivate through contradiction, seemingly forged in geological time yet animated with a visceral sense of immediacy. Before The End is curated by Public Art Fund Executive & Artistic Director Nicholas Baume with support from Public Art Fund Assistant Curator Jenée-Daria Strand. Read more here.
