JONAS WOOD: PLANTS AND ANIMALS

Join us on Thursday, June 8 from 4 – 6 PM at our LA gallery to celebrate the release of Jonas Wood: Plants and Animals, a striking new catalogue that details Wood’s artmaking process leading up to his 2022 eponymous exhibition. The artist will be signing copies of the book, available now in our shop or for purchase at the event. The catalogue features full-color plates, process imagery, reference materials, and a text by Wood.

MUSEUM COMMISSION
Lauren Halsey's site-specific installation for The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden is on view through October 22. In a prominent review by Holland Cotter in The New York Times, Cotter describes Halsey’s monumental installation as "one of the best in the Met’s 10-year series of annual Roof Garden commissions." The Heart of Relations, Andrea Büttner's solo exhibition at Kunstmuseum Basel in Switzerland, is on view April 22 through October 1, 2023. In the early 2000s, Büttner first began creating images in a range of media on complex subjects such as employment, poverty, shame, and forms of coexistence, as well as societal influences issuing from systems of belief, whether of religious or secular origin. LESLEY VANCE AT COLUMBUS MUSEUM OF ART

always circled whirling, Lesley Vance's solo museum exhibition at the Columbus Museum of Art, is on view April 21 through September 3, 2023. With quick gestures and hard contours, the Los Angeles-based artist creates swirling, interwoven forms that both delight and disorient the eye. CHASE HALL AT SCAD MUSEUM OF ART

The Close of Day, Chase Hall’s first solo museum exhibition, is on view at the SCAD Museum of Art from February 28 through August 21.
