REMEMBERING MARTHA DIAMOND
REMEMBERING MARTHA DIAMOND

NEWS
We are deeply saddened to share the passing of beloved artist Martha Diamond on December 30, 2023, at age 79. For over six decades, Diamond dedicated herself to the investigation of form and abstraction, producing a rich body of paintings and works on paper that capture the essence of the metropolis. As evidenced by her steadfast commitment to her work, her community, and her city, Diamond was the epitome of what some may call an artist’s artist. For her, art was not a product or even a process: it was a life lived fully. Our first solo exhibition by Diamond will be on view at our LA gallery from March 23 – April 27.
