Description

This book was published on the occasion of the exhibition Jonas Wood: Prints 2 at Gagosian, New York. It documents the artist’s printmaking output from 2018 to 2022, reproducing more than thirty limited-edition prints made during this period along with brief statements from the artist. Among the works’ subjects are botanical and sports imagery, domestic interiors, and still lifes inspired by Wood’s wife Shio Kusaka’s ceramics. From peaceful rooms to moonlit gardens, Wood depicts everyday scenes and objects with a striking vibrancy born out of collaboration with expert printmakers.
